Unbundling Infographic

Thanks to our colleagues at Legal Aid BC for creating this infographic explaining unbundling.

Infographic: Get legal services for part of your family law problem. You pay for the legal tasks you want help with, and you handle the rest of your case yourself. Examples include hiring a lawyer to represent you at one court hearing, give you legal advice, guide you with coaching, prepare a document for you to use in court, or help prepare you for a negotiation. How to get unbundled legal services: visit unbundlingLAW.ca, choose a lawyer from the list, call and have a meeting, decide what tasks you’ll do and what your lawyer will do. Your lawyer works on the tasks you agree to, and you pay for only these tasks. You might not have to travel — many lawyers offer their services over the phone or with video conferencing. Legal Services Society (LSS) will pay for your unbundled legal services if you qualify. Visit legalaid.bc.ca for more info.
